The Goldfinch
Written By: Donna Tartt
With close to 800 pages, The Goldfinch is a long read, but the most fantastic book I have read in a long time. Donna Tartt tells a deep, intricate tale about a boy named Theodore with a graphic and rich use of language. And though I don't normally like the use of "wordy" writing, the detail in this novel is what makes it so incredible and irresistible.
